Lifesaver�: On a beautifull summer night I came home from a drive-in movie. At the entrance of a village there was a curve which is made of 2 consecutive curves in the same direction. I came at this point rather over the speed limit (50 km/hr, I did 120 km/hr). Since it was around midnight, I felt it wasn't necessary to slow down, I would just use the total width of the road. In the second part of the curve however, was another car, coming from the opposite direction, on it's appropriate lane. But I was on the same lane. I had untill then DRIVEN a rwd car and reacted, out of habit, by lifting the accelerator. A gigantic slide was the result.Balance: One young (24yr), irresponsible driver in the hospital with a concussion and some minor flesh wounds, one Saab 900 Turbo total loss and the building I hit (a small supermarket) had a cracked ceiling from the store window to the back, and had to be supported.
